How Circle Business Funding is structured, who we partner with, and how we handle your data.
Circle Business Funding is a Miami, Florida-based commercial finance company.
We accept direct applications from U.S. small businesses and referrals from licensed broker partners (ISOs). Merchants are routed to the funding channel that best fits their credit profile.
SBA and term-loan products are originated through FDIC-insured Preferred Lender partners. Circle is a sourcing and servicing partner for these products, not the originator of record. The specific lender or originator for any approved financing is disclosed in the applicable financing agreement.
100% of files are reviewed by a senior underwriter. We do not use automated decisioning for credit approval. Approval, loan amount, term, rate, and other pricing terms are determined at our sole discretion based on our credit policy and applicable law and may vary by state, product, and applicant profile. Not all applicants will qualify for financing, and applying does not guarantee an offer.
Working capital products are priced as a fixed factor rate or fixed-fee structure. Term loans are priced as an annual percentage rate (APR) by the originating bank partner. Lines of credit are priced as a draw fee or APR depending on product. The full cost of financing is disclosed in the applicable agreement before signing. We do not charge application fees. Origination, ACH, broker, or other fees may apply and are disclosed in writing prior to funding.
We may obtain consumer and commercial credit reports from major bureaus to evaluate applications. We may report payment performance to commercial credit bureaus (Experian Business, Equifax Business, PayNet). We do not report business loan performance to consumer credit bureaus.
New York: We comply with the New York Commercial Finance Disclosure Law (effective August 2023) for all transactions involving NY-based businesses.
Virginia, Utah, Georgia, and others: We comply with applicable commercial financing disclosure laws for transactions in these states. State-specific disclosures are provided in the financing agreement at the time of approval.
Circle complies with the federal Equal Credit Opportunity Act, which prohibits creditors from discriminating against credit applicants on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, marital status, age, or because the applicant receives income from a public assistance program. The federal agency that administers compliance with this law is the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, 1700 G Street NW, Washington, DC 20552.
